“Threads, developed as a competitor to Twitter, is now available for use. The new application by Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta Company, has been launched in over 100 countries. The number of users who have tried it so far has exceeded 100 million.

According to the statement by Meta Group, “Threads will be a place where communities can discuss topics of interest today and trends of tomorrow. Zuckerberg’s release of Threads has put him at odds with Elon Musk. Musk commented on Threads, saying, “Competition is good, cheating is not.” Elon Musk’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, sent a “cease and desist” letter to Mark Zuckerberg, threatening to file a lawsuit.
